FAQ:
The day of your appointment, I will set up my portable spray tanning tent in your desired suitable area of your space. We will then have a pre-tan consultation for me to better understand your skin and tanning goals. You’ll change into whatever you feel most comfortable in and step into the tent. I will then use a spray gun to apply a fine mist of tanning solution onto your skin. After the solution has dried, a light setting powder will be applied so you are able to get dressed immediately after. I will then pack up quickly and leave you to enjoy your day. Please allow up to 30-45 minutes for your appointment.
- If you have any hair, nail, or skin treatments planned, complete them at least 48 hours before your appointment to avoid product interference with the spray tanning products.
- Shower, exfoliate, and shave any desired areas 24 hours before your appointment.
- The day of your appointment, ensure your skin is free of makeup, deodorant, lotion, oil, and other products.
- Avoid using Dove or any products containing mineral oil, as they can create a barrier that prevents proper adhesion of the tanning solution.
No! Your tan will be curated specifically to your skin type, with our premium tanning solutions that are custom mixed the day of your appointment. All of our solutions have specific color bases that correlate with each type of skin undertone, to counteract all orange hues, and leave you with your desired bronzing effect.
I recommend wearing dark, loose fitting clothing, and open toed shoes if needed to avoid any chance of transferring or unevenness while your tan develops.
For women, it is based on your preference and comfortability, you can go completely nude, wear a bra/ underwear, or a bathing suit if you prefer to have a tan line. I also can provide a disposable thong the day of your appointment. For men, I recommend dark boxer briefs or swim trunks.
For our regular tanning solution, you will rinse within 8-12 hours of your appointment. For our rapid solution, you will rinse within 1-4 hours of your appointment. This initial rinse you will just use water, DO NOT use any hair/body products this shower to ensure your tan develops evenly after. During this rinse, you will see the cosmetic bronzer from the tanning solution come off in the shower, once the water is running free of the bronzer, you can step out and pat dry. Be aware that the color you see after this rinse is not the final color, as it will continue to develop over the following 24 hours.
Your tan can last anywhere between 5-10 days with proper after care steps taken.
